The RT-Thread Club (also referred to herein as “RT-Thread” or “RT-Thread Community” or "RT-Thread Club") is a set of related Internet sites and other applications for questions and answers, owned and operated by Real-Thread Information Technology Limited. (“RT-Thread”, “we” or “us”).
RT-Thread welcomes you to ask questions, share experiences, explore this new IoT World that is ahead of all of us and raise your skillset to the next level in the RT-Thread embedded open source club.
Information You Provide to Us
We collect information you provide to us directly when you use the Services. This includes: - Account information: If you create a RT-Thread account, we may require you to provide a username and password. Your username is public, and it doesn’t have to be related to your real name. You may also provide other account information, like an email address, bio, or profile picture, etc. We also store your user account preferences and settings.
Content you submit: We collect the content you submit to the Services. This includes your posts and comments including saved drafts, your messages with other users (e.g., private messages, chats), and your reports and other communications with experts and with us. Your content may include text, links, images.
Actions you take: We collect information about the actions you take when using the Services. This includes your interactions with content, like giving away, saving, hiding, and reporting. It also includes your interactions with other users, such as following, chatting.
Other information: You may choose to provide other information directly to us. For example, we may collect information when you fill out a form, participate in any activities, apply for a job, request customer support, or otherwise communicate with us.

Log and usage data: We may log information when you access and use the Services. Except for the IP address used to create your account, RT-Thread will delete any IP addresses collected after 100 days.

When you submit content (including a post, answer, article) to a public part of the Services, any visitors to and users of our Services will be able to see that content, the username associated with the content, and the date and time you originally submitted the content.
Your RT-Thread account has a profile page that is public. Your profile contains information about your activities on the Services, such as your username, prior posts, articles, answers, followings, followers, cake-day on RT-Thread and the number of how many times your profiles has been viewed.
RT-Thread may share your information with any of RT-Thread’s employees, officers, insurers, professional advisers, agents, suppliers or subcontractors around the world. RT-Thread may also share your information with third-party suppliers and service providers worldwide for data processing, storage, and other services as necessary, such as web site hosting, data analysis, information technology and related infrastructure provision, customer service, email delivery, auditing and other similar services.
RT-Thread will also share or release information, including Personal Data, if (i) RT-Thread has your permission to make the disclosure, (ii) when RT-Thread believes release is appropriate or required to comply with the applicable laws and/or to respond to requests from competent public and government authorities including public and government authorities outside your country of residence, (iii) in connection with any ongoing or prospective legal proceedings, (iv) protect the rights, property or safety of RT-Thread and other users (including for fraud protection and credit risk reduction).

For example, we use HTTPS while information is being transmitted. RT-Thread pays attention to the security of your information, and therefore RT-Thread uses various security technologies to protect it, including secure servers, firewalls and encrypted solutions and reasonable and appropriate organizational, technical, and administrative measures to protect Personal Data within RT-Thread organization against unauthorized or unlawful access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.
However, transmissions over the internet are never entirely secure or error-free and RT-Thread does not guarantee the security of the information communicated to and/or from RT-Thread Sites. It is your responsibility to safeguard any password, user ID and other Personal Data while using RT-Thread Sites.
The RT-Thread Sites are not directed at, and are not intended for minors and children under the age of sixteen (16). Children under the age of 16 are not allowed to create an account or otherwise use the Services. Additionally, if you are in the EEA, you must be over the age required by the laws of your country to create an account or otherwise use the Services, or we need to have obtained verifiable consent from your parent or legal guardian.

RT-Thread reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. Any change to this Privacy Policy will become effective when RT-Thread makes the revised Privacy Policy available on RT-Thread Sites or when RT-Thread notifies you of such change.
